I simply pose this question, as my baseball knowledge is not the same as Ethan's or Marissa's.
-I caught glimpses of this team sweep the Yankees, handle the Red Sox, and every time I have seen them play, they seem in control of the game.
-Their bullpen is untouchable. Period.
-The lineup? With Texiera, Hunter, Guerrero, Anderson it is versatile and can beat you with the bat, speed, or a combination.
-The pitching? Much better than originally expected at the beginning of the season, when the injury bug struck.
I would just love to hear how you guys diagnose this team and how to attack them. Obviously you would want to score early and often ideally, but is there another way?

;It's going to be hard. They had a good lineup pre-Teixeira, once they added him, most of the AL West probably threw in the towel/put up the white flag/whatever you want to say.
It's really going to be almost impossible to beat them if they're on.
That said, if you can chip away and manufacture runs and play overall solid baseball, you might have a shot.
Well, the best way I would think is to have a dominant performance from your starting pitcher and your bullpen. I say this because there aren't to many lineups-Boston might be the only one-who can go toe-to-toe with them, and chances are they're pitching is going to be good. So good pitching+at least 5 runs or more on most night usually equals a win. However, if your pitching is exceptional-not good, exceptional-on any given night, then you may have a shot because uually, you can get a couple of runs off of their pitchers, with the excepton of John Lackey. You can't beat them 9-8 because they wont give up that many runs. But if you have a big-time starter on the mound and your releivers are solid, then they can sometimes be beaten 3-2. I have always felt that good pithing beats good hitting 9 times out of 10, and the Angels are no differnt in my opinion.
